Kishan Bagh
Kishan Bagh Desert Park, located at the foot of the Nahargarh hills in Jaipur, is a remarkable example of ecological restoration that transformed a barren, sandy wasteland into a thriving desert landscape.
Spanning approximately 30 hectares, the park was envisioned to showcase the Roee which is the native rock and sand formations of the Marwar region, and the specific vegetation that thrives in such arid conditions.
Unlike traditional manicured gardens, Kishan Bagh highlights the subtle beauty of the Thar Desert's ecology, featuring undulating dunes, volcanic rocks, and indigenous plant species like Sarkanda (Saccharum bengalense) and Khejpri.
